Temuera Morrison, Zack Morris Join Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Amazon MGM’s ‘The Bluff’ (Exclusive)

As a longtime fan of gripping period dramas and iconic franchises, I am absolutely thrilled to see such a star-studded cast coming together for “The Bluff.” With Temuera Morrison’s unforgettable portrayal of Boba Fett in the Star Wars universe, Zack Morris’s timeless charm from Saved by the Bell, and David Field’s diverse acting background, this project promises to be a captivating watch.

Actor Temuera Morrison, along with Zack Morris, David Field, Pacharo Mzembe, and Gideon Mzembe, have been added to the cast of Amazon MGM Studios’ period film The Bluff, which features Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the leading role.

Frank E. Flowers (known for “Bob Marley: One Love”) takes the helm as director for a movie he co-wrote with Joe Ballarini. The film’s star-studded cast, which was previously announced, includes Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo.

The Bluff” revolves around a reformed pirate (Chopra Jonas) as she navigates the challenge of protecting her family while facing threats from her old, perilous past. The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video at an undisclosed date.”

The movie is being made by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Michael Disco from AGBO, together with Chopra Jonas and Cisely Saldana and Mariel Saldana from Cinestar Pictures. In addition to Flowers and Ballarini, Chris Castaldi, Ari Costa, and Kassee Whiting from AGBO, Zoe Saldaña from Cinestar Pictures, and Thorsten Schumacher from Rocket Science are serving as executive producers.

As a seasoned movie enthusiast with decades of personal experience in the entertainment industry, I must say that witnessing the behind-the-scenes camaraderie and excitement leading up to a film’s wrap party is always an unforgettable moment. Earlier this month, I was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of that magic through the Instagram post of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, as she shared footage of herself and her mother on their way to the set. The infectious energy and warm smiles on their faces serve as a reminder of the unique bonds forged between cast and crew during the creative process. It’s moments like these that truly highlight the collaborative nature of filmmaking, and I can’t wait to see the final product once it hits the big screen!

The Bluff signifies a fresh partnership between AGBO, Amazon MGM Studios, and Chopra Jonas, following the spring 2023 debut of their spy series Citadel . In the upcoming second season, Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden will reprise their roles. Production for this new installment is slated to commence later in the year. Joe Russo will helm the director’s chair, while Anthony Russo, Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, and Chris Castaldi serve as executive producers for AGBO.
