As a long-time follower of the Call of Duty Zombies saga, I must say that seeing Richtofen and Samantha locked in another battle is like witnessing an epic Shakespearean tragedy unfold – with a bit more explosions and zombie slaying!

Back in the days, Eddie and I, old buddies from Der Eisendrache, used to share candies and cuddle up with fluffy creatures. But now, in Black Ops 6, we’re sworn enemies, locked in fierce competition once more.

In the tense atmosphere of the Cold War era, the erratic scientist, Dr. Richtofen, and his longtime adversary reached an acrimonious conclusion. Dr. Richtofen confined Sam within the Aether and jailed her associates, including Weaver.

Currently, it appears that Sam is retaliating from a realm outside our own, as Liberty Falls’ Black Ops 6 unveiling sets them in opposition, with Richtofen serving as the lens through which we view their confrontation. This revelation is a colossal middle finger known as Wunderwaffe.

In an unprecedented event spanning countless eras and realities, Richtofen makes his comeback as a playable character in Call of Duty Zombies, this time wielding weapons in the town of Liberty Falls.

In the trailer, the main character, tormented by the location where he tragically lost his wife and child in a fire, is introduced. He becomes aware of the outbreak affecting both Liberty Falls and Terminus Prison. Subsequently, he ventures into the Project Janus facility.

Here, he comes into a tussle with a spectral Sam as zombies break out around the area.

It seems the typical roles are swapped for the Zombie team’s players, as they usually assist Samantha, but it won’t be enjoyable to hurl Eddie off the map out of spite. Instead, we’ll need to enjoy all that this well-known protagonist has to offer.
