As a lifestyle expert with a knack for discerning the pulse of the entertainment industry, I must say that Aparshakti Khurana’s journey in Stree 2 has been nothing short of electrifying. The film’s box office success and audience acclaim are testaments to its brilliance.

This film is steadily approaching the Rs 500 crore milestone at the box office and has also garnered favorable responses from the audience. Actor Aparshakti Khurana, who portrayed Bittu in the movie, shared his brother and fellow actor Ayushmann Khurrana‘s initial reaction upon watching Stree 2.

In conversation with Filmygyan, Aparshakti mentioned that his call came during the interval, he exclaimed “wow, what is this? It’s great, it’s great, it’s great.” At that moment, his wife, sister-in-law, mother, and brother were all watching the movie together. Coincidentally, Aparshakti was busy promoting the film in Delhi at the time. So, as a sign of good luck, the response was quite positive.

Last week, Aparshakti shared that since the release of Stree 2, he’s been inundated with calls and messages from friends, family, colleagues, and everyone else around him. “To make a 400 crore business is quite a big deal for a small outfit like us, touchwood,” Khurana said modestly. “It’s not because there’s a superstar in the film, but it’s wonderful to see the numbers.”

As an over-the-moon fanboy, I can’t help but share some exciting news! In another heart-to-heart chat with Money Control, the charismatic Bala actor spilled the beans about Stree 3 being brewed up. He hinted that it might take a while, but rest assured, it won’t be a six-year wait. The foundation for part 3 is already set, and there’s plenty more to explore in the Maddock Supernatural Universe before we see Stree 3 come to life! Aparshakti himself admitted that we might have to wait a couple of years, but I can assure you it won’t be six years for sure. Can’t wait for this spooky trilogy to continue!

In the lead roles for Stree 2 are Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, joined by Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi in significant parts. The director of this horror-comedy is Amar Kaushik, with the screenplay penned by Niren Bhatt and produced jointly by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. As a sequel to the 2018 film Stree, it marks the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
