After Fire Country Posted A Silly And Chaotic TikTok About About Filming Season 3, I Realized It Might Reveal Vital Information About Bode And Gabriela's Story

As someone who has been following Fire Country since its debut, I can hardly contain my excitement for Season 3! The cliffhanger at the end of Season 2 left us all on tenterhooks, and this latest behind-the-scenes sneak peek has only stoked the flames of anticipation.

I’m really looking forward to the debut of Fire Country’s Season 3 on the 2024 TV lineup, given that the previous season ended dramatically. Particularly, Season 2 saw Bode choosing not to intervene in Gabriela and Diego’s wedding and expressing his desire to become a professional firefighter full-time. With the cast of Fire Country recently sharing playful and disorderly TikTok clips hinting at their return to production, I believe these might provide some intriguing insights into the future for Bode and Gabriela.

The upcoming series, slated for release on Friday, October 18 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, is currently being filmed. To mark this exciting occasion, Fire Country shared a funny, chaotic TikTok from the set of Season 3.

In the amusing video displayed above, it’s clear that Stephanie Arcila and Max Thieriot are working together on set. The actress playing Gabriela can be heard saying “We’ve returned.”

Hey there! You know, it’s starting to feel like a mystery. Both characters from the show appear to carry over their outfits from the Season 2 finale. Arcila is still sporting that wedding dress and earrings, which makes me wonder if we missed something during the wedding scene in the finale – I don’t recall them exchanging “I do”s!

After Fire Country Posted A Silly And Chaotic TikTok About About Filming Season 3, I Realized It Might Reveal Vital Information About Bode And Gabriela's Story

It seems like the latest TikTok hints at the probability of the upcoming season opener featuring a conversation between Bode and Gabriela, taking place in the woods as they discuss all the recent events.

In our chat towards the close of Season 2, Fire Country’s showrunner and I discussed Bode’s choice not to interfere during Gabriela’s wedding. Tia Napolitano shared with me during that talk:

Indeed, we traversed each path questioning if he would indeed disrupt the wedding. However, I believe Bode isn’t the type of person who would publicly humiliate her in front of everyone. Instead, it seems his plan was to approach her privately before she appears before all these people and engage in a heartfelt conversation: “Are you ready for this? Are you content?” Manny then responds, and Bode finds himself unable to follow through.

In a different phrasing: Bode chose not to act as Freddy instructed and opted to discuss firefighting with his uncle instead. As for Gabriela, it’s unclear what she was thinking at that time. The TikTok hints that they might have a secret encounter in the woods following the ceremony, or perhaps speculatively, Gabriela may decide to leave her wedding altogether.

An alternative scenario might be that there’s an urgent summons requiring everyone at the wedding to return to work instantly. Given that Billy Burke is seen in the video wearing what appears to be his wedding outfit, it’s not unimaginable for them all to abruptly leave without a chance to change, perhaps to quickly extinguish a fire.

Regardless of the final details, it appears that TikTok hints at an upcoming event in Season 3’s premiere where characters Bode and Gabriela may feature together. This scene might occur straight after their wedding and Bode’s decision to join the fire department.

To summarize, it appears that Season 3’s opening episode will continue from where we last ended, or at least provide flashbacks to that point, offering a glimpse into Bode and Gabriela’s responses to the wedding. Fingers crossed for a scene where they interact, discuss the events, and perhaps express their thoughts on everything. Fortunately, this TikTok hints that such an encounter could take place!

Get ready to speculate as we eagerly anticipate the return of “Fire Country” in October! Until then, why not revisit the first two seasons on Paramount+ and ponder over what the behind-the-scenes clips might hint at? A Paramount+ subscription is all you need for a streaming experience.
