But before they can react, their predicament worsens drastically when an extraterrestrial life-form, capable of inhabiting human bodies, emerges suddenly, making it extremely difficult for the crew to survive.
John Carpenter’s classic film “The Thing” remains one of his most impressive works and is often considered among Kurt Russell’s finest acting efforts. Regrettably, the film’s 2011 prequel, titled “The Thing,” starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton, fell short in comparison to its predecessor.
