The Weeknd Announces New Album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’

As a long-time fan of The Weeknd, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and melancholy as he prepares to wrap up his After Hours trilogy with Hurry Up Tomorrow. With each album, Abel seems to delve deeper into his soul, painting vivid portraits of love, loss, and the complexities of fame that resonate so profoundly with me.

The Weeknd is set to conclude his “After Hours” trilogy with the third and last album, named “Hurry Up Tomorrow”. However, the exact release date for this project has not been announced yet

A video teaser for the LP featured an ominous scrolling message:

“Fourteen years past, we found ourselves submerged in a glistening ocean during the late hours of the night, momentarily holding our breath. We tried to heal our scars with songs and lights, like a protective barrier concealing the depths within us.”

“In a timeless realm devoid of seasons, where days blur together. Yet, this very permanence is my predicament. Today drags on interminably, like a loop that refuses to break. I’ve twisted truths beyond recognition, indifferent to the disorientation, insensitive to the queasiness. Beneath the surface, it whispers in hushed tones. I gaze into the mirror and see echoes of youth and age, trapped between yesterday and tomorrow. I remain unresolved, stuck between two worlds.”
