As stated by ANI, DCP Crime Branch Raj Tilak Roshan mentioned that the body of Anil Mehta (62), who lived on the sixth floor, was discovered. The team is currently conducting a thorough investigation at the scene and exploring all possibilities. Forensic teams are also present, and the body will undergo an autopsy. Initially, it seems like a suicide case, but they are continuing their comprehensive investigation.

It emerged that Malaika Arora, who happened to be in Pune, swiftly went back to Mumbai upon hearing about her father’s demise. On the scene at her family home was actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, as well as a crowd of policemen and journalists outside. Many close friends and relatives, including Arjun Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Sohail Khan, Salim Khan, and Alvira Agnihotri, paid their respects by visiting to express their sympathies.

At age 11, Malaika experienced her parents’ divorce, causing her to relocate with her mother, sister Amrita, to Chembur. Her mom, Joyce Polycarp, is a Malayali Christian, while her dad, Anil Arora, originally hails from Fazilka, a border town in India, and served on the Indian Merchant Navy as a Punjabi Hindu.
