Starting out as a fitness instructor, his perseverance and determination have catapulted him to stardom within the industry. His unwavering dedication has not only gained him acclaim but also placed him center stage. With an irresistible allure reminiscent of the boy next door, he enchants viewers effortlessly.

Today, we delve into the journey of Varun Sood, initially aiming to emulate his father’s path in the Indian Army by starting off as a fitness trainer. Yet, life had alternate plans for him. From humble beginnings on television screens to gracing the big screen and partnering with some of the most distinguished and gifted individuals within the industry, Sood has undeniably traversed a significant distance!

Born on April 1, 1995, in what is now known as Kolkata, West Bengal, Varun spent his childhood years in Delhi while harboring dreams of joining the Indian Army, a path that mirrored his grandfather’s and father’s careers. He completed his foundational education at the Army Public School, where he demonstrated exceptional skills in basketball and shot put, even competing at the national level.

Initially, Sood rose to fame by appearing on various reality TV programs like MTV Roadies, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, MTV Splitsvilla, Ace of Space, and Bigg Boss OTT Season 1, among several others.

2019 marked his first acting appearance through ALTBalaji’s Ragini MMS: Returns. However, it was his performance in Karan Johar’s Jugjugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor that truly catapulted him to prominence. Sood received acclaim for his part and managed to win over audiences despite having minimal screen presence.

Additionally, he made an appearance on SonyLIV’s show Potluck. Starting from January 2024, he graced Disney+ Hotstar’s production Karmma Calling, and subsequently, Amazon Prime’s Naam Namak Nishan. However, it was his performance in the series Call Me Bae that truly showcased his range within the industry. In this series, he portrayed Prince Bhasin, who was the love interest of Ananya Panday.

With his innocence and on-screen charm, Sood certainly made a memorable impression. The actor has been receiving widespread praise for his performance, and it’s clear that he has a promising career ahead.
