Last time John Cena appeared as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, HBO Max was still a thing, Russia had invaded Ukraine, Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court, and Walter Hamada led DC Films. More than two and a half years have passed since then, and there have been significant changes. Now, HBO Max is simply known as Max, while James Gunn and Peter Saffron are jointly in charge of DC Studios. Yet, we’re still anticipating Season 2 of Peacemaker, with John Cena discussing the delays and the hurdles the series has encountered since then.
