As a fervent fan of Bollywood, I must say that Ananya Panday has undeniably made a significant mark in the industry with her captivating performances and impeccable style. Her recent role in Call Me Bae is a testament to her versatility as an actress, showcasing not only her acting prowess but also her discerning fashion sense.

Currently basking in the triumph of her latest web series “Call Me Bae,” Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, has been charming viewers not only with her acting prowess but also with her fashionable outfits. Intriguingly, Ananya has confessed a desire to don the eye-catching pink wedding lehenga sported by her character “Bae” in the series on her own big day.

During a chat with Instant Bollywood, Ananya Panday revealed that her preferred ensemble from the series Call Me Bae is the wedding dress. She praised its beauty, mentioning that both the hairstyle and makeup were equally impressive. She expressed, “My favorite piece would be the wedding gown – it was utterly breathtaking. The hairstyle and makeup were equally amazing. They adorned my hair with real flowers, and it had a long train. It was this lovely shade of blush pink, and I’d love to wear it at my own wedding whenever that special day comes in my life.

If you haven’t noticed already, the stunning wedding lehenga showcased in “Call Me Bae” was actually influenced by Kiara Advani’s own wedding outfit. Intriguingly, the entire ensemble for the wedding scene was designed to resemble Kiara’s wedding attire when she tied the knot with Sidharth Malhotra.

Ananya Panday shared that she picked some wardrobe items from the show, such as a large, blue pullover and swimwear. She was particularly fond of the newspaper print jacket her character wore on their first workday, finding its whimsical style appealing. As she’s planning to be a journalist herself, she found the idea of wearing this jacket fittingly humorous.

At the India Today Mind Rocks Youth Summit 2024, Ananya openly discussed the hurdles she faces as an actress, particularly in expressing her views on political or sensitive matters. She voiced her annoyance at being advised against such discussions. Regardless, Ananya underscored the significance of maintaining that her work reflects her personal ethical and social principles.

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but praise Call Me Bae for its thoughtful approach towards the MeToo movement. I particularly admire its emphasis on women’s empowerment and related matters. Although I may not have had many chances to discuss such subjects openly in my personal life, I wholeheartedly appreciate the significance of addressing them through my endeavors.

Furthermore, the actress from “Call Me Bae” stressed her commitment to choosing roles aligned with her personal beliefs. She acknowledged the substantial impact these choices could have on people and highlighted the necessity of being discerning when it comes to selecting projects, considering the potent influence that media can exert on its viewers.
