Fendi SS25 Celebrates 100 Years in Business

As a gamer who’s lived through decades of fashion trends and witnessed the rise and fall of countless design houses, I must say, Fendi‘s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a breathtaking testament to the power of heritage and family unity. The brand’s centennial celebration felt like a heartfelt homecoming, filled with nostalgia and a renewed sense of purpose.

For Fendi, the Spring/Summer 2025 season holds a significant role as it marks their 100th year in business. With the arrival of warmer weather approaching, this fashion house under the leadership of Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi will be celebrating a major milestone. To honor this monumental occasion, Kim Jones, who oversees the women’s division, has chosen to highlight the brand’s tight-knit family roots in his designs for the season.

At the event, Venturini Fendi engaged in conversation with her mother, Anna, about the early history of the House. Notably, it was Venturini Fendi’s grandmother, Adele, who opened Fendi’s first store in 1925 by cutting the ribbon. Moved by memory, Anna shared some words of wisdom from Adele: “You are like a hand. Each finger is unique and supports the others.” This phrase now symbolizes the strong genetic roots of the brand. Venturini Fendi oversees menswear, childrenswear, and accessories, while her daughter, Delfina, who serves as inspiration for Jones’ jewelry line, embodies this philosophy.

In the Fendi family legacy, Jones produced an impressive collection showcasing iconic designs for the brand. Draped across lightweight gowns were regal patterns; fringe adorned the edges of feminine blouses, and lavish embellishments turned ordinary fabrics into bold statements. Transparent blouses accentuated female beauty, while Baguette bags became a popular trend. It was a stylish tribute to womanhood, a key factor in Fendi’s lasting century-long success.
