In a recent chat with ETimes, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal discussed their lives post-wedding. In an honest admission, Iqbal confessed that he often forgets they are now husband and wife. He shared, “I still find myself forgetting that I’m married to Sonakshi, such as when we’re in public, I feel like I can’t hold her hand, then I remember, ‘oh, we got married!’
In agreement with her spouse’s statement, the actress from Heeramandi expressed a sentiment of no change in their relationship. She explained that it seems as though they just started dating seven years ago.
Sonakshi and Zaheer secretly tied the knot on June 23 in a simple court wedding. This was later followed by an extravagant reception that saw the presence of many popular Bollywood figures such as Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, Yo Yo Honey Singh and others.
On the professional side, Sonakshi recently appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s grand period series for streaming platforms, Heeramandi. Her portrayal of Fareedan was well-received. Moving forward, it is said that the actress will join forces once more with her spouse for a film titled Tu Hai Meri Kiran.
