As I reflect on Somy Ali’s heartfelt confession, it’s hard not to be moved by her tale of youthful indiscretions and their far-reaching consequences. It seems that the world of Bollywood in the ’90s was as entangled as a web of pipes, with Salman Khan navigating his way through the hearts of two women – Sangeeta Bijlani and Somy Ali herself.

Previously known actress Somy Ali revealed that Sangeeta Bijlani abandoned her wedding plans with Salman Khan after discovering him secretly entering her room via the window and pipes. Somy recalled, “Salman would often scale the building’s pipes and enter my room through my window.” Furthermore, she admitted to having apologized to Sangeeta for potentially ruining her relationship with Salman.

During an interview on Times Now, Somy Ali shared a past event where Sangeeta Bijlani discovered her and Salman Khan together, ultimately leading to the demise of their relationship. She reminisced about how Salman would secretly enter her apartment by scaling pipes to access her window. At that point, Salman was still engaged to Sangeeta, and wedding arrangements were already being made, with invitations being printed. This incident transpired when she resided in a two-bedroom flat located in Vindhyachal, Uttar Pradesh.

In the continuation of her narrative, Somy Ali recounted an important turning point triggered by an unexpected encounter with Sangeeta Bijlani. She detailed being in her room with Salman Khan when Sangeeta abruptly appeared. “Salman and I were engaged in conversation in my room, and all of a sudden, Sangeeta entered,” the ex-actress explained, “She looked at Salman and declared, ‘This is it. You need to make a decision,'” she continued, adding that Salman mentioned he would be back within ten minutes.

If the wedding invitations for Sangeeta were already prepared, Somy was taken aback when Salman returned and disclosed that he’d broken up with Sangeeta to be with her instead. It seemed to her like it was destiny at work.

In addition, Somy confessed that years down the line, she contacted Sangeeta Bijlani to offer an apology. She conveyed her genuine remorse, admitting that she was young and naive about the repercussions of her behavior at the time. Essentially, she admitted, “I told her I was truly sorry from within my heart. I was a child back then, and I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into.” Interestingly, Sangeeta replied that she held no ill feelings since she was contentedly married to Azhar at the time, but just a month later, Sangeeta decided to separate from him by filing for divorce.

She admitted that at age 16, her behaviors played a role in ending a marriage, and she felt it was necessary to own up to her mistakes and offer an apology to Sangeeta.

In the ’90s, there were rumors that Somy Ali and Salman Khan were in a relationship. Although they didn’t openly confirm it, she claims it lasted for approximately eight years. Interestingly, they worked together on the 1992 film “Buland”, but the movie was never made public.
