Astro Bot - Defeat Lady Venomara and Collect All Dude Raiding Eggs

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that Astro Bot is one of the most captivating and immersive VR games out there. The Dude Raiding level is a testament to this, offering an exhilarating blend of platforming, puzzle-solving, and combat that kept me engaged from start to finish.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but feel the echoes of the Uncharted series in Astro Bot’s action-packed levels, particularly the Dude Raiding level. This level challenges me to locate three elusive golden eggs to unveil a hidden bronze trophy. On paper, finding three egg artifacts might seem straightforward, but let me tell you, they are cunningly concealed!

During various sessions playing the level, these hidden items can appear in any order. The empty crate at the beginning indicates what collectibles you’ve found so far. In our walkthrough, we’ll show you where to find every single golden egg treasure, leaving no stone unturned.

How to Defeat the Giant Snake Boss

In the game Astro Bot, the Dude Raiding level can only be accessed after defeating Lady Venomara, the giant snake boss situated at the end of Serpent Starway. To reach this boss, you must save a total of 100 bots within the game. The battle with Lady Venomara is divided into two primary stages that challenge your ability to time and dodge effectively.

In the initial stage, Lady Venomara releases a harmful fog across the battlefield. Avoid it by jumping onto pillars using the Rooster Booster. Subsequently, she performs her Slither Attack, wriggling and targeting various locations. Her attack can be anticipated by observing marks on the ground, providing an opportunity to evade.

In this stage, as the snake-like creature shows its blue bands, your goal is to aim for those rings. Once you’ve dealt damage, move towards her chin for a hit. The battlefield gradually shrinks when she burrows into it. To prevent being pushed off, stay near the center. After two hits on her chin, her tongue will appear – seize it to trigger phase two.

In the second stage, Lady Venomara sets free two mobile eggs of a violet hue across the combat area. To dodge these eggs, make use of your Rooster Booster and approach her instead. After you’ve maneuvered away from the eggs, concentrate on striking her chin to weaken her.

At the start of the stage, there’s a Nathan Drake-like robot that hands over a firearm to you. Once you save this robot and use its peashooter to vanquish foes, the hunt for the eggs commences. Here are the spots where you can find the three Dude Raiding Eggs:

Upon arriving at the site where the plane went down, you’ll spot a tree and a hidden nook consisting of a small platform located off the main trail. To get there, carefully jump from the edge of the platform to access the lower level. This drop might be tricky to spot without a detailed search. You will then come across a stone wall adorned with four intricate faces carved into it.

You can rotate each face by pressing the Square button or pulling back on the R2 trigger to shoot your weapon. Rotate the blocks until every face appears squinty, like they’re hiding behind a mask. Once all the faces are aligned correctly, the wall will light up. After that, the wall will slide open, revealing a secret compartment where you’ll find the first golden egg artifact in the Dude Raiding level.

Dude Raiding Egg #2

As I touch down, I find myself amidst a mesmerizing swirl of silvery turtles gliding around in circular patterns, having just descended from a verdant slide. Swiftly turning to my right, I spot a pair of these aquatic wonders bobbing up and down in a loop. Leaping onto the nearest one, I utilize them as stepping stones en route to the platform beyond. Upon reaching my destination, I veer rightward, pocketing any coins that lie scattered along the way.

Soon, the route will take you to columns that emerge from the water. Jump from one column to another as you ascend these structures. Ultimately, you’ll find yourself at the peak of the edifice, overlooking a distant tower. Utilize your flying skill to glide towards the solitary tower at the summit, where the second egg is waiting for you.

At the end of the stage, you’ll discover the final egg tucked away inside a temple, right after the stone turtle head leads you in. Following that, you’ll encounter a chamber adorned with skull heads. Your mission here is to ascend a large rope in the center to navigate your escape. Keep an eye out for the egg as it’s hidden during the climb itself.

Before embarking on your climb, keep an eye out for slippery adversaries hiding further along the rope. These creatures might make your journey more difficult, but you can ease your path by defeating some trapped enemies using R2 and L2 controls. Take a quick glance around Astro Bot as you ascend, rotating the camera to check what lies behind him. Around halfway up, be aware of a concealed platform hidden behind the rope, which is simple to overlook.

Upon entering the room, torches are visible overhead. After discovering the concealed stage, jump from the rope and soar towards it. As soon as you encounter the fire-breathing adversary, execute a spinning move to conquer it and pave the way forward. Once the enemy is vanquished, inspect the platform with the third egg on an altar.
