All The Golden Bachelorette Eliminations For Joan Vassos’ Season, Updated Weekly

As a long-time fan of reality TV shows and someone who has seen more than their fair share of heartbreak unfold on screen, I must say that Joan Vassos’ journey on The Golden Bachelorette is one that resonates deeply with me. Her resilience in the face of adversity, her strength as a mother, and her courage to love again after losing her husband are qualities that I truly admire.

⚠️ Warning: This story discloses contestants who were ousted in the latest episode of The Golden Bachelorette, along with potential additional spoilers. If you’d like to watch the episodes, they are available for streaming on Hulu with a subscription.

On September 18th, history was made as the first season of “The Golden Bachelorette” premiered in the 2024 TV lineup. Previously, Joan Vassos had eliminated herself from Gerry Turner’s season of “The Golden Bachelor” to care for her daughter. At 61 years old and hailing from Maryland, she is now spearheading her own spinoff, seeking love once more after the passing of her husband due to pancreatic cancer in 2021. Among the 24 gentlemen who presented themselves on the premiere night, Joan has a challenging task ahead as she navigates through several breakups to find her second soulmate.

In this piece, we’re providing you with a rundown of all the eliminations happening on “The Golden Bachelorette” in its debut season. Night 1 Rose Ceremony: Six Men Fail To Receive A Rose After Pulling An All-Nighter

As I stepped into Bachelor Mansion on The Golden Bachelorette, I knew the sleep arrangements weren’t ideal, but little did I know that first night would be a sleepless one. Instead of counting sheep, we were all busy trying to catch Joan Vassos’ attention until the sun peeked over the horizon the next morning. Everyone was determined to make an impact and secure a spot on those bunk beds. Unfortunately, only 18 of us made it through Joan’s cut, as she sent four of us packing.

  • Bill Hernandez
  • David Huff
  • Ken O’Brien
  • Pablo Gonzalez-Juana
  • RJ Johnson
  • Thomas

It turns out we didn’t have enough time to truly understand these men during the special episode of “The Golden Bachelorette.” However, the rancher from Austin, Texas named David Huff, who arrived on a horse as expected, seemed to get the most camera time. I couldn’t help but chuckle when his horse left prematurely before David invited Joan to meet it. “I think it’s taken off,” she remarked.

Similar to Gerry Turner earlier, Joan Vassos appeared rattled by the necessity of dismissing someone on the initial day (read: morning), taking a moment to compose herself before rejoining the visibly tired contestants. I suspect her mind was dwelling on her own experience on The Golden Bachelor, recalling the tension and preparation that led to an early departure. Sadly, it seems these eliminations will remain challenging for her.

Make sure to visit this link every week to discover the newest contestants eliminated, and if you’re eager to know who might win, we’ve got an unconfirmed rumor about how Joan Vassos’ season concludes. Rest assured, no spoilers of the finale will be revealed in this article.

I’ll be tuning in every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and catching up the next day on Hulu, one of my favorite streaming platforms to subscribe to as a gamer.
