‘Wednesday’ Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Look at Season 2

As a long-time fan of Tim Burton’s macabre and whimsical universe, I must say that the behind-the-scenes sneak peek of Wednesday season two has me positively giddy with excitement! Jenna Ortega’s return as the iconic Wednesday Addams promises a delightful dose of dark humor and spooky charm.

Jenna Ortega returns as the character Wednesday Addams, providing a sneak peek into the making of season two of the show “Wednesday,” which is said to be even larger and more intricately twisted than one’s imagination could conceive.

Netflix presented fresh clips during a fan gathering in Atlanta on Thursday night. The video features the original actors, namely Gina Rodriguez, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Victor Dorobantu reprising their roles at Nevermore Academy’s set, with Thing making an appearance as well.

Scenes from various parts of the set were shown in the making-of video, such as Ortega’s usual stoic expression upon her arrival at campus on a Wednesday, students from Nevermore congregating in a field and Thing acting suspiciously as per usual, were all included. Tim Burton was once more seen sitting in the director’s chair.

As for me, if there was any more footage to show, my very own eyes might just pop out, but I’ve got plenty to spare, so have a look! Here you go:

On Wednesday, the filming for season two began in May, right in Ireland. The comedy-fantasy series, conceived by Al Gough and Miles Millar, also welcomed a group of twelve new actors to their team. Some of these new cast members include Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.

In January, Ortega expressed her satisfaction with the scripts this season, having earlier faced criticism for publicly criticizing the show’s writing during its initial release.

Earlier this year, the actress hinted at a scarier direction for the show, saying it’s packed with more action. She also mentioned that each episode feels like a standalone movie, even though Wednesday’s character development remains consistent.

A release date for Wednesday season two has yet to be announced.
