As a long-time enthusiast of both gaming and high-performance automobiles, I must say that Mercedes-AMG has truly outdone themselves with their latest creation: the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ “Motorsport Collectors Edition.” Having played countless racing games over the years, I’ve always dreamed of owning a car that not only looks as stunning as my favorite virtual racers but also boasts the same level of performance.
At the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, Mercedes-AMG unveiled a special, limited edition car: the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ “Motorsport Collector’s Edition.” Only 200 of these vehicles will be made, combining the thrill of motorsports with premium luxury and high-performance capabilities.
The design of the vehicle takes cues from the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 team, showcasing a unique appearance enhanced by its glossy obsidian black exterior, intricately painted silver star motif, and accents in the colors of PETRONAS. Striking green elements are strategically placed on the front spoiler, air vents, side skirts, and rear diffuser, making the automobile’s racing heritage stand out prominently.
The GT 63 PRO boasts a potent 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, generating an impressive 612 horsepower. It’s packed with features like AMG ceramic high-performance brakes, 21-inch AMG forged wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, which significantly boost its performance both on the road and track. Additionally, it features an aerodynamic package that minimizes lift and enhances cooling for superior high-speed driving.
On the inside, the design reflects the exterior’s Petronas-colored accents. The seating area is adorned with black Nappa leather and microfiber upholstery from MICROCUT, embellished by the team’s signature green stitching. There are plenty of advanced technologies and comfort amenities, such as the Burmester 3D Surround Sound System, AMG TRACK PACE, and a head-up display.
Currently, we don’t have details on the cost of the “Motorsport Collector’s Edition” of the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ as its pricing has not been disclosed yet.
