As a devoted follower of Bollywood, witnessing Sharvari Wagh’s journey from an admiring fan to a co-star with her idol, Rani Mukerji, is nothing short of inspiring. Having grown up reenacting Rani’s scenes and songs, I could only imagine the excitement she must have felt during their first meeting. Yet, what truly warmed my heart was Sharvari’s description of their encounter as “fun and casual.” It seems that even superstars can be as approachable as a friendly neighbor when you share a common passion for acting!

Sharvari Wagh is getting ready for the film Alpha, where she works alongside Alia Bhatt, and has given fans a peek behind the scenes from their shoot in Kashmir, creating quite a buzz. Looking back at her debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2 alongside Rani Mukerji, Sharvari reminisced about feeling anxious during their initial encounter. Yet, she found it enjoyable, saying, “Siddhant and I thought our first meeting was casual and fun.

In a chat with News 18, Sharvari Wagh confessed that she was extremely nervous about encountering Rani Mukerji, as she had always admired the actress and even mimicked her movie scenes and songs as a child. She admitted that Rani’s influence played a crucial role in igniting her passion for acting, making their initial meeting particularly momentous. However, Rani’s friendly demeanor swiftly alleviated her anxiety, causing her jitters to dissipate almost immediately.

Sharvari went on to share that their initial encounter with Rani Mukerji was enjoyable and laid-back, much like a casual get-together. Following some study and preparation times together, they grew more familiar with her, discovering she was even friendlier than expected, living up perfectly to their aspirations.

Speaking about Rani Mukerji, Sharvari shared that she didn’t find her intimidating at all. Instead, she spoke highly of Rani’s warm and friendly nature. Despite being a superstar, Rani never came across as intimidating. For Sharvari, who had always looked up to Rani, meeting her was an absolute joy.

Prior to starring in Bunty Aur Babli 2 alongside Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan, Sharvari honed her skills by working under esteemed directors Luv Ranjan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Following her successful debut with the horror-comedy Munjya, she later appeared alongside John Abraham in Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa.

The action movie “Alpha” serves as a groundbreaking moment, being the inaugural female-led film within the YRF Spy Universe. Notably, Hrithik Roshan is set to make a guest appearance in this production. Overseeing direction is Shiv Rawail, and Aditya Chopra takes on the role of producer. The villain is portrayed by Bobby Deol, while Anil Kapoor is rumored to join the cast alongside Alia Bhatt as the main character. “Alpha” is slated as the seventh addition to the successful Spy Universe, following Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and War 2.
