Following the triumph of Stree 2, Abhishek Banerjee commenced filming for his upcoming project, Section 84, alongside Amitabh Bachchan. In a casual conversation, the actor shared some insights about his initial encounter with the legendary star. Remarkably, he remembered being reprimanded by Mr. Bachchan when he attempted to seek his blessings by touching his feet.

When chatting about his initial encounter with Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Banerjee shared an interesting story: Upon meeting the legendary star for the first time, he instinctively touched his feet in respect. However, to his surprise, “He reprimanded me, saying ‘Don’t do this!’ I was merely showing my reverence, but it seemed to offend him. This left me wondering, ‘How can I establish a connection with him.’ It was at this point that director Ribhu Dasgupta stepped in and revealed they had both attended the same college, Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. This unexpected common ground helped them bond and break the ice.

Upon discovering this, the actor of Stree 2 expressed great joy and declared that he could never separate senior Bachchan from himself because it was unimaginable. Abhishek went on to say that in every role he plays, he pays tribute to him in his own unique manner. “It is often said that you should not mimic your idols, but rather do something inspired by them,” Banerjee revealed.

A while back, Abhishek too posted a photo with his fellow actor on social media, accompanied by the caption: “I am extremely happy today. Abhishek Banerjee further disclosed a video he took of Big B making his first appearance on set. He created this video to preserve the moment of him entering the set, as he finds Big B’s presence overwhelming. The young actor mentioned that there is an eerie silence on the set when Big B arrives, describing it as if a cinematic encyclopedia has walked in. Abhishek went on to say that collectively, none of them can match Big B’s devotion and vitality.
