As a seasoned viewer of reality TV shows, I’ve seen more than my fair share of relationships crumble under the weight of unresolved issues and miscommunication – and James and Meitalia’s situation is giving me major déjà vu. The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way only served to reinforce my concerns about their future together.
heads up! the upcoming content is a spoiler for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode titled “There’s Something About Jojo.” watch it with a Max membership, if you dare, as you may not want to miss a thing!
It seems I penned down my feelings of annoyance towards James’ persistent avoidance of discussing crucial topics with Meitalia, an issue that predates the filming of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. In the latest episode, they engaged in a deep discussion about their life goals, leaving me with more than just a hint of worry regarding their future prospects.
Having observed numerous splits among 90 Day Fiancé couples, I find myself subtly gaining expertise in identifying potential issues. A significant red flag emerged in the latest episode of the spinoff, and it primarily revolves around these couple’s lack of alignment regarding their future plans.
James And Meitalia Discussed Their Ideal Futures, And They’re On Different Pages
After spending some time in Indonesia, it felt like the moment was ripe for a heart-to-heart about our future plans. We began to discuss the possibilities ahead, and I couldn’t help but notice that Meitalia’s dream of settling down here permanently and raising our kids seemed more distant than ever. The issue is, I can’t seem to secure stable employment without mastering the local language, and even if I did, the income wouldn’t compare to what we could earn back in the U.S. – as a gamer, I’m always looking for the best moves on my game board of life.
It appears that James isn’t putting in much effort to ensure they can live comfortably in Indonesia, as he hasn’t sold their car before his trip and continues to mention that their dog is currently banned from the country. Additionally, despite having known about the plan for a while, he hasn’t made an honest attempt to learn the language. This leads me to think that they might not be genuinely planning on moving there permanently.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but echo the longing that James expresses for his homeland, United States. It’s almost as if Meitalia yearns for motherhood just as fervently. Lately, she’s shared her belief that a baby would fortify their union, which strikes me as a potential warning sign for their relationship. This concern intensified when he inquired about her willingness to accept his choice not to have children, and she remained silent. To the discerning reader, it’s evident that these two have vastly different aspirations for their lives.
Can James And Meitalia Have A Happy Marriage Without One Sacrificing Too Much?
As James and Meitalia map out their future aspirations, it seems challenging to envision a scenario where neither of them sacrifices something deeply important for the other’s contentment. When they face the choice between staying in Indonesia or moving back to the U.S., will one of them simply conclude that their relationship might not be sustainable?
A 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Star Has Been Banned From Show’s Subreddit Over Offensive Messages
This is a bad situation.
All we know for now is that it seems like James and Meitalia are still together, based on what they’re sharing on social media. Assuming those posts are current, it looks like they could still be living in Indonesia. That said, we’ve seen couples hold back content all the time for when their season starts to air, so they might be posting old footage for the big reveal at the tell-all they’re living in the United States again.
In simpler terms, I’d prefer if they could openly discuss their desires and communicate better, avoiding misunderstandings. If this doesn’t happen, it might be wiser for them to part ways before having kids, as I believe children can complicate a separation rather than strengthening the relationship. While Meitalia believes children can strengthen relationships, I think they tend to make breakups more difficult and messy.
