Due to numerous painful and untrue stories spreading regarding our parents’ relationship, specifically between Kim Porter and Sean Combs, as well as concerning our mother’s unfortunate demise, we feel compelled to set the record straight.
According to the Daily Mail, a book titled “KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side” was said to have been saved on a hard drive by Porter and sent to Chris Todd, a Los Angeles record producer, who then published it under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood on September 6th. However, Porter’s children have recently stated that she did not author a memoir.
It’s false that our mother has authored a book,” their statement clarified. “No such manuscript exists, and anyone asserting to possess it is misleading. Please be aware that anyone who claims to speak on behalf of our mother or her family does not have her well-being in mind.
On a Monday post on Instagram, Brown voiced his demand for an investigation into the death of Porter in 2018. He suggested that Porter, who transitioned from modeling to acting, might have known about Combs’ alleged involvement in sex trafficking, which could have led to her untimely demise.
However, their children assert that what was said before is quite distant from reality. “Our lives were irrevocably broken when we lost our mother,” they declared. “She was our universe, and nothing has felt the same since she departed. Although it’s been excruciatingly hard to accept her sudden absence, the reason for her demise has already been confirmed. There was no wrongdoing involved. In the year 2018, Porter was tragically discovered deceased at her residence in Toluca Lake, California. For several days prior, she had been experiencing symptoms akin to the flu. Initially, the cause of death was stated as “to be determined later,” but subsequently, the coroner amended this to lobar pneumonia.
