As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of watching Big Brother under my belt, I can confidently say that Chelsie Baham is giving us one of the most impressive performances we’ve seen in years. This girl has been pulling off moves like a boss from the get-go, and I missed her quiet rise to power like a blindside at an unsuspecting housemate’s back.
Season 26 of “Big Brother” stands out as one of the show’s finest over the last ten years, with just a few pivotal weeks remaining to determine the champion. This season has been remarkable for its frequent use of the veto and the increased prevalence of blindsides. Among all the contestants, Chelsie Baham has emerged as a standout player who might be one of the most exceptional we’ve seen in years.
It turns out that my earlier statement, made several weeks back, underestimated Chelsie’s influence in the game following Tucker Des Lauriers’ eviction. In reality, she has been a dominant force from the start, and I failed to notice her subtle rise as one of the most skilled Houseguests in recent memory.
Chelsie’s Ability To Influence Nominations Is Incredible
She boasts just two Head of Household (HOH) wins and a triumph in the A.I. Arena, but her impact extends beyond these achievements. It’s accurate to note that she has instigated and coordinated significant moves, not only during her Week 8 HOH which led to Quinn Martin’s departure, but also throughout the weeks. We frequently observed Chelsie strategically maneuvering for particular contestants as targets each week, and more often than not, she managed to eliminate those she wanted most.
Few actions in the game might prove as pivotal for her victory as when she successfully persuaded Week 10 HOH Makensy Manbeck to nominate Leah Peters, following MJ’s veto win. This strategy not only propelled her main threat closer to an imminent eviction but also weakened MJ’s position just before the double eviction. If she wins this season, many will see this decision as a crucial turning point.
I’d also like to highlight that my suggestion of nominating Tucker proved to be persuasive for her, T’Kor Clottey. This decision ultimately steered the course of the season towards her control, as it could just as easily have been T’Kor, Tucker, Kimo Apaka, and Rubina Bernabe vying for the end. However, she still has a journey ahead, but she’s significantly closer to victory than she was a few weeks back.

She’s Overcome A Lot Of Early Adversity To Become Season 26’s Most Flexible Player
As soon as Chelsie entered the house, she found herself facing obstacles. She was handed a handicap that kept her from joining any competitions during the initial week, and she couldn’t take part in the eviction vote. Remarkably, the Houseguests of Season 26 showed understanding by refraining from nominating either Chelsie or Cedric Hodges, demonstrating fairness. In other seasons, this situation might have made them a target, but this cast deserves praise for their thoughtful decision.
At a point when it appeared that Chelsie was making progress with The Collective, Quinn unexpectedly switched alliances, which resulted in Cedric Hodges and Brooklyn Rivera leaving. Despite this turbulence, Chelsie navigated through the situation and seized an opportunity to regain control during T’Kor Clottey’s Head of Household (HOH) tenure. By making T’Kor feel confident about nominating Tucker for eviction, she ultimately succeeded in getting him removed from the house, allowing for a fresh start.
Chelsie managed to stay composed when things seemed unfavorable, eventually turning the tide of events to suit her preferences. Some might argue that she had an edge due to Big Brother 26 being a season with fewer significant strategists, which could be a valid point.
In my opinion, she has the potential to perform equally well in another season, and I expect her to produce more blooms in future years, regardless of whether she takes home the prize this time around. After observing many seasons of Big Brother, I’ve come to understand that each player is unique because they all adapt to their specific season’s rules. Frankly, I believe even some of the game’s top performers might have found the A.I. Arena challenging.

She’s Managed To Keep A Target Off Her Back Despite Her Power Moves
This season, Chelsie appears to have skillfully reduced the focus on herself as a potential target among the other housemates. She’s managed to build strong, trustworthy relationships with several housemates, who look to her for advice and view her as an ally. Having such connections is crucial if one hopes to win Big Brother, and Chelsie seems to have mastered this strategy remarkably well.
It may appear simpler than it actually is, especially for those aiming for major advancements. Eventually, other participants might discern that you’re almost invulnerable to many others, which could spark a wave of scheming against you. Strangely enough, no one seems to have noticed the close relationship between you and Chelsie, or questioned the reason behind it.
T’Kor found herself in a situation where she had just cause to be resentful when Chelsie watched over as she was banished from the house, because her covert ally’s vote could have been crucial for her survival. However, instead of confronting Chelsie about her lack of support, T’Kor remained silent and didn’t show any signs of bitterness. It’s hard to explain how she managed it, but Chelsie is incredibly skilled at keeping a calm demeanor in difficult situations.
It’s uncertain whether Chelsie Baham will claim victory in Big Brother 26, but if she does, it’s clear she deserves it due to her hard work. At the very least, she’s become a top contender for Houseguests who should be invited back for an all-stars season. I’ve been captivated by her gameplay so far, and I’ll be cheering her on until the end of her journey, as all my other favorite contenders have been eliminated from BB26.
As a devoted fan, I eagerly await each episode of Big Brother on CBS, airing on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. However, due to the arrival of fresh TV series and sports events, the broadcast times occasionally fluctuate. So, stay tuned to TopMob for all the latest inside scoops about the game’s developments as we eagerly anticipate the final episode, where a brand-new champion will step out of that house!
