As an ardent fan who has witnessed Anupam Kher’s illustrious career spanning over four decades, I can confidently say that his compassion and concern for his fellow humans, especially those connected to him, are as profound as his acting prowess. The recent incident involving a student of his academy, where a cockroach was found in her meal on an Air India flight, not only showcases his empathy but also his unwavering commitment towards the well-being of others.
Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher posted a message on X on Sunday morning (September 29, 2024), addressing Air India after a woman reported discovering a cockroach in the meal served to her and her toddler during the flight. Kher mentioned that the woman was a student at his academy and urged the airline to address the issue promptly. He dded that the she must have gone through a huge trauma.
The event was brought to attention when passenger Suyesha Savant posted pictures and videos on X, exposing a deceased cockroach found in the in-flight omelette. Unfortunately, her 2-year-old child had already eaten half of it before noticing the pest, leading to a case of food poisoning for the toddler.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ve taken it upon myself to reach out to the relevant authorities regarding a concerning incident shared by Kher on his social media platforms. He wrote, “Dear @airindia, I am a passionate advocate for all things Indian, and that includes #AirIndia. I want to bring your attention to Ms. Suyesha Savant, an alumna of @actorprepares who is not known for her complaints. Her recent experience with her small baby suggests she must have faced a significant ordeal. Though I understand mistakes can happen, I hope you make her return journey memorable and reaffirming to restore her faith in what I consider one of the best airlines globally. Jai Ho!
“I discovered a cockroach in the omelette I was served on my Air India flight from Delhi to New York. My 2-year-old and I had eaten more than half of it before we spotted this disgusting creature. As a result, I ended up suffering from food poisoning. @DGCAIndi @RamMNK
As a devoted follower, I’m grateful for Kher’s sharing of that post, as it helped bring the mistake to everyone’s attention. One fellow netizen even expressed that he cancelled his father’s Air India flight upon seeing the actor’s post. The airline later apologized to Savant for the incident and assured prompt action to rectify the situation.
As a lifestyle expert, I must express my admiration for the captivating performance of Kher in the courtroom drama “Kaagaz 2,” which made its debut on March 1, 2024. Led by the visionary direction of V.K. Prakash, this sequel to Kaagaz boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Darshan Kumar, Satish Kaushik, and Smriti Kalra.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the maestro himself, Anupam Kher, is immersed in his forthcoming masterpiece, “Tanvi The Great,” under his prestigious production house, Anupam Kher Studio. On top of that, he’s all set to grace our screens in another film titled “Vijay 69,” adding yet another layer of diversity to his remarkable portfolio of projects.
