To honor this significant occasion, Varun shared an exclusive poster of his dual characters on his Instagram Stories, alongside his father and director, David Dhawan.

In conversation with PTI, Dhawan shared that his dad, David Dhawan, never explicitly advised or dissuaded him from entering the acting world. Instead, he reminisced about his father nudging him towards pursuing his personal goals and inquiring about his plans to become an actor.
As reported by Varun Dhawan, David, being a nurturing parent, was always by his side throughout the different phases of his life, ensuring he had everything required and comfort needed. Interestingly, David never forced him to take up certain paths, instead, if Varun wished to pursue acting, he advised him not to tarnish his father’s reputation in the process.
In terms of his upcoming projects, Varun will appear in Raj and DK’s production titled “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The trailer for “Citadel: Honey Bunny” hints at an exhilarating journey brimming with action, suspense, and valor, seasoned with a nostalgic touch of the ’90s.
Besides Varun Dhawan, Samantha, and Kay Kay Menon, the cast also includes Saqib Saleem and Sikandar Kher. This production is set within the Citadel universe, boasting an impressive lineup of international stars such as Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville. The release date on Prime Video is scheduled for November 7, 2024.
In addition to that, Varun Dhawan will make an appearance in the upcoming action thriller titled Baby John. This movie is helmed by Kalees.
