As a seasoned gamer and horror enthusiast who’s survived countless nights of virtual terrors, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of American Horror Stories! The teaser for its upcoming Hulaween event has sent shivers down my spine with its chilling glimpses of classic horror tropes.
The hit series “American Horror Stories” is coming back, featuring stars like Henry Winkler, Michael Imperioli, Debby Ryan, Victor Garber, and others during the upcoming five-episode season. This season is being marketed as a special Halloween event called Hulaween.
This series, a derivative of the acclaimed anthology series by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk titled “American Horror Story,” presents a unique horror tale in every one of its self-contained episodes.
Take a peek at the upcoming episode, scheduled for October 15 as part of Hulu’s Halloween selection, offers a brief glimpse into innovative reinterpretations of conventional horror motifs, including “don’t look beneath the bed,” a chilling reflection in the mirror, and an eerie woman appearing in an empty parking lot after midnight.
In response to Ryan’s character, the nurse says, “Her dreams have real-life consequences,” to which she inquires, “What specifically?” The subsequent scene then depicts her lying in bed with a man who is mysteriously sucked beneath it.
Glancing again at the episodes in the anthology, we find Garber getting activated via a button on his neck and then attempting to attack someone with a knife. He declares, “I’m here to care for you,” just before trying to choke another individual.
Approximately midway through the preview, there’s a monochrome sequence where we see a man lying in a hospital bed, pleading with someone not to end his life. In his first appearance on the trailer, Winkler delivers his lines while sporting an eyepatch, saying, “Kill you? I hardly even know you.
A glance at the series doesn’t disclose much about each specific episode, but it does include what seem to be the episode names: “The Thing Under the Bed,” “The Backrooms,” “The Clone,” “The Leprechaun,” and “X.
Dyllón Burnside, Jeff Hiller, Jessica Barden, Angel Bismark Curiel, Guy Burnet, and June Squibb are among the cast members in season four of American Horror Stories. This season is overseen by executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, Max Winkler, Jon Robin Baitz, and Manny Coto.
This autumn, renowned producer Murphy is set to debut a new series. Previously, he introduced the FX’s “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez,” Netflix’s “Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menendez Story,” FX’s “Grotesquerie,” Fox’s “9-1-1,” and ABC’s “Doctor Odyssey” in September.
