This stance reflects his belief that in today’s world, separating scents by gender doesn’t make sense. The new unisex fragrances can be seen as progressive, as luxury brands are grappling with adapting to evolving views on gender identity among modern consumers.

As we promote the brand, its scents carry a deep connection to its Venetian roots. The fragrance blends incorporate flavors that mirror the multicultural atmosphere of the brand’s homeland: Bergamot from Italy, Geranium from Madagascar, Cardamom from Guatemala, French Angelica oil, and Somalian Myrrh. Inspired by traditional Venetian glassblowing techniques, the bottles are crafted using a modern process that simulates the uneven air bubbles found in hand-made Murano glass. These unique bottles have Croatian wood stoppers and rest on Verde Alpi marble bases.

Over the past few years, high-end brands have been directing more attention towards the rapidly growing market of beauty and self-care products. For instance, Pharrell introduced his first scent in July as the creative director for Louis Vuitton, while Acne Studios teamed up with Frederic Malle to unveil their debut fragrance in March. Notably, Bottega Veneta’s entry into this market is the most extensive so far and carries the highest price tag of $450 per bottle.
