On Thursday, Bruce Springsteen shared on Instagram that he’s backing the Democratic ticket for this election. Known for his roots in working-class America, he expressed his political views in a casual, relatable way, as if we were all sitting in a small-town diner discussing politics together.
Many people, including friends, supporters, and media outlets, have inquired about whom I’m backing in this critical election,” Springsteen explained, speaking directly to the camera. “Bearing in mind that my views carry no more or less weight than any other American’s, here’s what I think: I am endorsing Kamala Harris for president and Tim Walz for vice president, and I stand against Donald Trump and J.D. Vance.

Speaking about his choice, the musician famous for “Born in the U.S.A.” from the ’80s stated that the 2024 election holds immense significance for our country and he feels that our nation hasn’t been this split since the era of the Civil War.
He remarked, ‘It doesn’t need to stay this way.’ We can rekindle our shared values and common narratives that have made us a powerful and united nation. This process requires patience, effort, wisdom, faith, and individuals who prioritize the national interest above all else.
He went on to deride the former president for his actions and politics.
The individual stated that Donald Trump is the most perilous presidential candidate during their lifetime. He expressed concern over Trump’s disregard for the sacredness of our Constitution, democracy, rule of law, and peaceful transition of power. This carelessness should prevent him from holding the presidency again.
I can’t seem to grasp the essence of this nation, its past, and what it truly means to be profoundly American,” I noted.
As a passionate supporter, I can attest that Harris and Walz, in the spirit of Springsteen’s ideals, embody a progressive outlook for our country. They value all individuals, irrespective of their social class, religious beliefs, ethnicity, political leanings, or personal identity.
He stated that he aims to expand the economy in a manner that advantages everyone, rather than just the privileged few, such as himself,” he said, alluding to his wealth. This, he added, is the America I’ve been persistently advocating for over the past 55 years.
Everyone perceives things differently, and I value your decision as a fellow countryman. However, just like you, I have only one vote, which is a highly valuable asset to me. Consequently, on November 5th, I will exercise my right to vote, and I’ll be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
