Ultra-Rare McLaren Senna GTR LM Could Fetch $2.6M at Auction

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for virtual racing and a soft spot for real-life supercars, this McLaren Senna GTR LM is nothing short of a dream come true. With its rich history rooted in Le Mans victory and the iconic Harrods livery, it’s like stepping into a time machine back to 1995 – minus the floppy disk save system!

2020 McLaren Senna GTR LM, an exceptionally rare model from McLaren Special Operations, is going up for auction at RM Sotheby’s. This track-oriented vehicle is one of only five ever made, created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the F1 GTR’s triumphant win at Le Mans in 1995.

The unique Senna GTR LM you see here is the sole one adorned with the legendary Harrods color scheme, reminiscent of the F1 GTR chassis 06R that secured third place at Le Mans in 1995. This vehicle boasts a vibrant Solar Yellow and Heritage Green paint job, meticulously hand-painted over approximately 800 hours, with just a small vinyl sticker added – a nod to its Le Mans heritage.

Beneath its exterior, the Senna GTR LM sports an 833 horsepower, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, capable of reaching up to 9,000 revolutions per minute. This gives it more power than its track-focused forerunner, the Senna GTR. The vehicle has traveled only slightly over 600 miles and includes an additional Senna GTR engine and wet-weather wheels and tires in the package.

This vehicle showcases its racing heritage through FIA-certified carbon fiber racing seats, titanium nitride pedals, and an exclusive steering wheel adorned with gold details. The etched carbon fiber door panels honor the iconic F1 GTR chassis 06R and its drivers, Derek Bell and Bruno Senna, while including their autographs lends a sense of genuine history to it.

The unique Senna GTR LM that was sent to the United Kingdom will go under the hammer starting from November 1, during RM Sotheby’s upcoming London event. With an estimated selling price of up to $2,600,000 USD.
