How to Get The Handgun

Look For A Note That Mentions the Handgun

At some stage, you’ll find a note indicating that neighbors were talking about gunshots from Apartment 217. This detail suggests the place where you’ll discover the essential handgun for your survival as you move forward in the game.
Solve The Puzzle
To move forward, you should first figure out the solution for the Jukebox riddle. This puzzle can be found in the Eastern part of South Vale. Once solved, you’ll receive the key for the 2F Hallway, which will grant you access to Room 217 and then you may proceed with getting the Handgun.
Get To The Wood Side Apartments
In the Lobby of Wood Side Apartments, you’ll find a Bulletin Board. From here you’ll acquire a map. This allows you to explore the rooms with ease. Remember to grab as much handgun ammo as you can during your search.
After wrapping up here, I’ll scamper upstairs to the upper level, where Apartment 202 lies. Inside, I’ll nab a flashlight and the key for the Chute Courtyard from the apartment. Once I’ve grabbed those essentials, it’s back down to the lobby floor. With my newfound Chute Courtyard Key, I can unlock the door to the right of the Reception Desk, which is where my adventure continues!
To reach Apartment 112, locate an unoccupied trash can, position it beneath an open window, then jump over it to gain entry into the hallway. In the hallway, you’ll spot a key lying on the floor. Grab the key and use it to unlock the adjacent room.
It’s important to note: You’ll Need to defeat the Lying Figures and continue searching the rooms.
Navigate towards the opposite end where the bars are located and retrieve the 2F Hallway Key, which is situated close to Apartment 107. As you explore Room 108, you’ll discover a crucial game item – the Golden Apple Handle.
After wrapping up your search here, head on up the stairs and step into Apartment 203. Traverse the narrow passageway, almost like passing through a secret tunnel, to reach Room 217. The firearm you seek will be stashed within a shopping cart in the heart of the room.
