2021 has been quite an eventful year for The Kid LAROI, with him releasing numerous standout singles such as “HEAVEN”, “GIRLS”, and the remix of “BABY I’M BACK” featuring Gunna. He also released a deluxe edition of his album THE FIRST TIME and a documentary film. Before embarking on his Australian tour, he has dropped another track titled “APEROL SPRITZ”, which fans have been eagerly waiting for.
Initially, The Kid Laroi shared a catchy fragment of the song on TikTok several months ago, which included the lyrics such as “Ayy, I drink Henn’, she drink Aperol Spritz / Ayy, girl, I promise you ain’t had it like this (Ayy) / There’s a whole lotta girls up in here, but / Can’t nobody f*ck with my b*tch.” This snippet became popular. It seems that the song “APEROL SPRITZ” is likely about his girlfriend Tate McRae. Throughout September, The Kid Laroi continued to release sneak peeks of the track.
The cut’s accompanying music video is more of a commentary of LAROI’s big year, which features a crowd of girls in black dresses as they scream and chase LAROI in slow motion.
