As a dedicated follower, I recently had the privilege of making my Telugu film debut in the movie RRR, starring alongside Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. In a heartwarming turn of events, Ram Charan shared that he adopted an elephant in honor of my daughter, Raha. Reflecting on this funny story, I can’t help but appreciate his thoughtful gesture.
During a chat with host Suma in Hyderabad, Alia Bhatt disclosed that she didn’t have many interactions with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan on the set of RRR as her filming schedule only lasted for a short period. However, they grew close during the promotional events for the movie and are now good friends. Alia also reminisced about an amusing incident following the birth of her daughter, Raha, saying, “It’s quite a humorous tale, really.
Alia informed us that upon returning home from a stroll, someone approached her and mentioned, “An elephant has arrived.” She was perplexed, and the individual clarified that Ram Charan had arranged an elephant for her as a surprise. Alia then exclaimed, “Who knows what can happen? Maybe there’s an enormous elephant roaming through my building at this very moment!
Initially, the actress who played Gangubai Kathiawadi explained that the elephant wasn’t real, but rather a wooden one. Later, she shared that in a heartwarming move, Ram Charan had adopted an actual elephant in Raha’s honor residing in the wilderness of Raha. She nicknamed the wooden elephant “Ellie” and it was placed beside their dining table. Alia noted that her child loved it and found Ram Charan’s action incredibly thoughtful.
On Christmas Day in 2023, Alia Bhatt and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, introduced their baby girl, Raha, to the photographers. Since then, the proud mother has shared some charming snaps of their daughter on Instagram. In September 2024, she posted a collection of pictures in honor of Ranbir’s birthday.
