The Typhlosion incident
Let’s get the big one out of the way first. Yes, among the leaks, there’s a story about how a Typhlosion, Cyndaquil’s final evolution, tricks a young girl into having a relationship with him. It ends even worse than you’d expect.
How much worse? The girl ends up giving birth to a half-human half-Pokémon baby.
In time, the father of that child ends up killing the Typhlosion. Overwhelmed by the judgment of the villagers, the girl flees while donning the deceased Typhlosion’s pelt, seemingly transforming into one herself.
This Pokémon is portrayed in a remarkably chilling manner, as if it were the plot of a horror story, significantly altering our perception of a once cherished and undeniably iconic character.
The Original Pokémon Sin
If you found the initial tale chilling, brace yourself for the heart-wrenching account of the Slakoth calamity.
Essentially, a harsh gang of companions frequently mistreated Slakoths, a Pokemon resembling sloths. They disfigured and, in some instances, took their lives. One day, one of the group members was abducted by a Vigoroth, the evolved form of Slakoth.
The young lady witnessed many instances of her peer group mistreating Slakoth. Over time, it became commonplace in the Pokemon narrative for her to have one of her own.
In summary, unfortunately, the girls’ companions cruelly treat and injure the baby Slakoth that she had raised, thereby delivering a deeply distorted message about treating Pokémon with kindness.
It’s highly unlikely that Game Freak would incorporate these narratives into the official Pokémon canon. However, the intrigue persists: who created these stories, and what was their motivation? These tales, being official leak documents, still warrant our curiosity.
As a gamer, I’ve always believed that certain mysteries are best left unsolved. Now, I can’t help but wonder if maybe it wasn’t such a great idea to consider an adult-oriented Pokémon game in the first place.
