As a movie enthusiast who has spent countless winters huddled around the television with my family, watching holiday classics like “A Christmas Story” and “The Santa Clause,” I must say that “An Almost Christmas Story” has piqued my interest. The tale of Moon, the curious owl, and Luna, the lost girl, promises to be a heartwarming adventure that captures the true spirit of the holiday season.
“A Nearly Christmas Tale” is based on real-life occurrences from 2020 when a small owl was found in the Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree in New York City. The trailer hints at the story of Moon, a lively young owl who unwittingly ends up trapped within a Christmas tree headed for Rockefeller Plaza. In his struggle to free himself from the city’s hustle and bustle, Moon encounters a lonely little girl named Luna.
