Taron Egerton Battles Jason Bateman to Protect Plane in Netflix’s Tense ‘Carry-On’ Trailer

As a dedicated fan of Taron Egerton‘s captivating performances, I eagerly anticipate his latest role in “Carry-On” alongside the always entertaining Jason Bateman. Egerton’s ability to bring depth and emotion to every character he plays is truly remarkable, from his spellbinding portrayal of Elton John in “Rocketman” to his gripping performances in the “Kingsman” franchise.

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but share my excitement about the trailer for the Netflix thriller “Carry-On” starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman. This dynamic duo seems to have crafted an extraordinary challenge for us holiday travelers – making our journeys even more adventurous than usual!

On December 13th, action movie “Airport Thriller” directed by Jaume Collet-Serra will be available on the streaming platform. Joining the star-studded cast are Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Sinqua Walls, Logan Marshall-Green, Theo Rossi, Josh Brener and Dean Norris.

As a rookie TSA agent, I found myself squaring off against a shady traveler over a perilous parcel just days before Christmas. In this thrilling tale called “Carry-On”, it’s me versus the mastermind played by Bateman, with my job and holiday at stake!

Jaume Collet-Serra (known for Black Adam and Jungle Cruise) directed the movie based on a script by TJ Fixman. Dylan Clark is the producer of the film, with Jaume Collet-Serra, Holly Bario, Brian Williams, Seth Meier, and Scott Greenberg serving as executive producers.

Egerton is recognized for his work on the Kingsman film series, as well as his outstanding portrayal of Elton John in Rocketman. He also appeared in the Apple TV+ show Black Bird. On the other hand, Bateman’s recent projects include the movies Fool’s Paradise and Air.

In a recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Egerton hinted at the mental state of his character as he is first introduced in the movie “Carry-On”.

The actor mentioned that the character is discontented with his job at the airport, feeling drained and discouraged by it. Additionally, he learned his girlfriend is expecting a child. This news adds pressure on him to become a good father and provider, but I believe he also experiences a profound emptiness. When confronted with this dire predicament, he has an opportunity for greatness.
