Being a long-time fan, I’ve seen my fair share of updates, but nothing quite beats the thrill of encountering more Ghost-type Pokemon, especially during spooky season.
The Pokemon Company is encouraging you to join them in celebrating Halloween this month, whether you’re asleep or awake! In the game Pokemon Sleep, there will be more Ghost-type Pokemon appearing at a higher rate. If fortune favors you, you might stumble upon a unique Pikachu dressed for trick-or-treating in an enchanting Halloween hat!
In the newest version of Pokemon Sleep, you’ll have exciting opportunities to acquire Handy Candy S from special missions with a time limit, plus double the amount of candies from your sleep-focused research. From October 28th to November 3rd, there will be increased chances for encountering Pikachu (Halloween edition) and Mimikyu, as well as more frequent appearances of Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Shuppet, Banette, Drifloon, Drifblim, and Skeledirge.
Keep in mind that you can use Mimikyu Incense to encounter Mimikyu: Dozing at Greengrass Isle and the Old Gold Power Plant. Meanwhile, you can use Pikachu (Halloween) Incense to research this adorable cutie’s sleep styles, which you can acquire by clearing limited-time missions during the event.
On Halloween night and as the grand finale of the event, you’ll find triple the usual amount of candy in your first sleep study of the day.
