90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Had Me The Most Shocked I've Ever Been Following Brian's Conversation With His Sibling

As a long-time fan of 90 Day Fiancé and someone who has seen more than my fair share of reality TV, I must say that this past episode left me genuinely surprised and intrigued. The unique family dynamic between Brian Muniz and his sister Reese was something I hadn’t seen before in the series, and it added an unexpected layer to their storyline.

In the latest episode of “90 Day Fiancé” spinoff, something surprising happened – an occurrence that left me taken aback during this year’s TV season. The seventh season of “Before The 90 Days,” though featuring a generally dislikable cast, continues to keep viewers engaged. What sets it apart now is its portrayal of an unusual family dynamic seldom shown on television in general, and particularly not within TLC series.

The tale of Brian Muniz and Ingrid has been filled with both positive and challenging experiences, and a heated disagreement in their bedroom could have potentially marked the end of their harmonious relationship. This situation unexpectedly led to an incident that I hadn’t foreseen – no intentioned joke here – and after some reflection, I find myself more open to fully appreciating it.

Brian Called Up His Sister To Detail His Sex Problems With Ingrid

During the show, it became apparent that Brian and Ingrid’s intimate moment was interrupted when Brian didn’t have a condom at hand. Trying to save the situation due to his lack of preparation, Brian suggested giving her oral pleasure instead. However, she declined his offer quite decisively.

Later on, Ingrid shared her thoughts privately that Brian seemed overly eager for intimacy, leaving her uncomfortable. This led to disagreements between them, and the evening concluded with each parting their own ways.

The next day finding himself alone in Brazil without anyone to converse with, Brian decided to call his older sister, Reese. He started their conversation by mentioning their close relationship, but I think he wasn’t fully aware of the depth of that bond. In a candid manner, he revealed every detail about the unusual incident that had happened in his bedroom the night before, leaving no embarrassing details untold. Remarkably, she remained unfazed and didn’t even blink an eye.

To be honest, she suggested a thought-provoking idea: maybe my second proposal stirred up emotions in Ingrid that were as intense or more so than intimacy itself, which might explain why it was rejected. Granted, this may not align with Ingrid’s perspective, but Reese managed to help me understand and, most importantly, helped calm the situation down when it appeared our relationship was on the verge of ending.

It’s Rare To See Close Brother And Sister Relationships On Television, Especially On This Level

I’ll be the first to admit I was shocked initially because I cannot imagine discussing sex with either of my sisters. But I do appreciate 90 Day Fiancé highlighting such a rarely seen close sibling dynamic on TV, scripted or otherwise. This is especially true after my wish to see more of Rayne Fernandez‘s story after learning about her belief in the paranormal turned out to be way more upsetting than I imagined.

A 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Cast Member Has Allegedly Been Uninvited From The Tell-All. Why I’ll Be Disappointed If They Really Don’t Show

I’m sad they won’t be along for the ride.

It brings back the same warm feeling I had when, after a long span of time, we got to witness Jasmine Pineda spending quality time with her kids. It’s refreshing to observe couples in genuine relationships, especially those where their affection for each other is evident to viewers, instead of the overly scripted ones that can seem artificial.

It seems like Brian has been portrayed rather negatively on Before The 90 Days Season 7, which made it refreshing to see him presented as a regular person too. Over time, many 90 Day couples have parted ways, and viewers often label one partner as the villain while overlooking the other’s role. Frequently, this labeling is warranted, but more commonly, it’s just two individuals who aren’t suited for each other.

In the absence of this particular scene from “90 Day Fiancé,” it could have appeared to fans that Brian might be portrayed as a person with excessive sexual desires, as suggested by Ingrid initially. However, after observing Brian conversing with his sister, I find myself aligning more with the viewpoint that Brian perceived rejection due to his disability, a concern he harbored prior to this journey commencing. Although my relationship with my sisters isn’t quite as close as Brian’s with his, I was genuinely moved and astonished by the inclusion of this scene in the show.
