Activist Laura Loomer, well-known for her conservative views, has sued Bill Maher and HBO, a part of Warner Bros. Discovery, for allegedly spreading defamatory claims about her with reckless disregard. In a recent episode of Real Time With Bill Maher, it was suggested that she had an affair with President Donald Trump, her lawyer Larry Klayman declared on Tuesday.
Klayman, a former federal prosecutor and past contender for Florida’s U.S. Senate seat, who is recognized for suing Bill Clinton’s presidential administration on multiple occasions, presented a defamation lawsuit. He claimed that the defendants spread false allegations with deliberate recklessness, accusing conservative activist Laura Loomer of having an affair with President Donald Trump.
I, being a fervent supporter, have lodged a complaint in the Florida district – the very same region where Ms. Loomer made her bid for U.S. Congress and has established a deep-seated connection, recognized as a revered moral authority within the community. As stated, I am pursuing damages totaling $150 million, along with additional punitive damages.
The legal filing cites remarks Maher made on the September 13th episode of Real Time on HBO as follows: “Perhaps Laura Loomer is in a relationship with someone to influence the election because she’s very close to Trump. She’s 31 and resembles his type. We did an article here a few years ago… it was essentially, who is Trump sleeping with? Because I said, you know, it isn’t nobody. He’s been romantically involved for too long, and it’s not Melania. I think we might find our answer this week. I suspect it could be Laura Loomer.

Ms. Loomer, who works as a conservative activist and investigative journalist, has consistently supported President Donald Trump over the last ten years. As a result, she’s faced criticism from Bill Maher and HBO, who are known to back Democrat Party officials. They’ve made disparaging remarks about Ms. Loomer as a means to undermine President Trump’s campaign and her own credibility.
