90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 Cast Has Been Unveiled, And I'm Shocked To See Two Of The Couples Involved

As a long-time follower of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, I must admit that the upcoming Season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort has me intrigued and slightly puzzled. On one hand, it’s no surprise to see some familiar faces grappling with their relationship woes on this spinoff, but two couples in particular have left me scratching my head – Stacey and Florian, who seem to have flown under the radar for so long, and Brandon and Julia, a couple whose seemingly stable bond now has me questioning if they’re headed for splitsville.

90 Day Fiancé is set to return one of its most captivating spinoffs just before 2024 comes to a close. The second season of 90 Day: The Last Resort will be airing soon on TV, and it doesn’t come as a shock that some familiar faces have hit a breaking point in their relationship. However, two couples participating in this season took me by surprise.

To start off, let’s discuss the ensemble of characters in the show first. Here are the cast members you can expect to see when 90 Day: The Last Resort airs again on TLC and starts streaming with a Max subscription from Monday, December 2nd:

  • Brandon and Julia Gibbs
  • Ariela and Biniyam Shibre
  • Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda
  • Rob Warne and Sophie Sierra
  • Stacey Silva and Florian Sukaj
  • Natalie Mordovtseva and Josh Weinstein

Despite my personal preference for the franchise to focus on new characters, I can’t ignore the fact that Gino and Jasmine might benefit from any assistance they can get. It’s not shocking to me that they’re featured in “90 Day: The Last Resort,” considering his recent social media statements about their relationship. This is likely true for many couples appearing, but I find it hard to believe we’ll see these particular pairs on the show.

Stacey And Florian

Frankly speaking, what surprises me about Stacey and Florian being part of this season is that they aren’t often recognized as key figures in the 90 Day Fiancé series. Although Darcey & Stacey is a spinoff, it doesn’t make direct reference to the main franchise in its title, and neither Stacey nor Florian had significant roles on it. Instead, Darcey was the primary focus due to her string of tumultuous romances, including a particularly public breakup. It’s not that I’m against their appearance; it’s just an unexpected move.

Brandon And Julia

A while ago, Brandon and Julia were introduced to us, but I can still vividly recall the disagreements with his parents over their shared bedroom. Although there were minor problems like that, it appeared their relationship was generally stable and trouble-free. If there had been significant issues, wouldn’t we have seen them in multiple spinoffs alongside some of the other troubled couples?

It’s merely my assumption, but it’s worth noting that many 90 Day Fiance couples who split after marriage didn’t have as much screen time as figures like Angela Deem or Big Ed Brown. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if we discover on 90 Day: The Last Resort that their marriage is in trouble and might end in divorce. However, I genuinely hope they find happiness because they were among my favorite couples during the initial season.

Hey there fellow gamers! Mark your calendars because I can’t wait to dive into the next level of drama with the premiere of “90 Day: The Last Resort” on Monday, December 2nd at 8:00 p.m. ET. If the first season was any indication, we’re in for one heck of a rollercoaster ride! See you there!
