Megan Thee Stallion Can’t Believe Nobody Told Her ‘Sex and the City’ “Was That Good”

As a gamer who’s spent countless hours binge-watching TV shows, I can confidently say that Megan Thee Stallion has missed out on one of the most iconic series in pop culture history – Sex and the City!

Megan Thee Stallion is still in shock that nobody told her how great Sex and the City is.

On Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, the musician-rapper confessed on Wednesday that she has only just begun to watch the TV show featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Kim Cattrall. (or)

Man, I had no idea ‘Sex and the City’ was this great!” I exclaimed. “I’m mad because nobody ever hinted that I should be watching it. Girl, this show is a must-see! It’s like, it’s right up my alley. I guess I just kept running into images of Sarah Jessica Parker looking stunningly beautiful.

She went on saying, “Her hairstyle, her footwear, her ensembles were always stunning. I found myself wondering, what program is this? I decided to give it a try, immerse myself in it because no one had suggested it to me. So, I began watching the show and couldn’t tear my eyes away. It was amazing! I watched it during workouts, while getting ready, and even when I had nothing else to do – and I’m quite busy. I found myself fitting Sex and the City into my schedule. I also started asking everyone, ‘Have you seen Sex and the City‘?

Later on, the “Body” artist admitted to Jimmy Fallon that she hasn’t watched either the 2008 film or the 2010 sequel of Sex and the City.

When ‘Sex and the City’ concluded in a way that left me feeling somewhat disappointed, they suggested, ‘Oh, no, you need to see the film.’ So, I responded, ‘Alright, lead me there because I’m confused about what’s going on.’

Fallon inquired whether Stallion was willing to express her opinions about every character from the series, namely Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda, and Stallion didn’t hesitate to voice her candid views.

Initially, it was Samantha who spoke up: “When I first watched Sex and the City, I thought, ‘I can’t stand this character.’ It seemed like she made a big deal about sex being the main aspect of her life. I found her pathetic and the show just didn’t appeal to me at all. But as it progressed, I started thinking, ‘Let me hold on for a second.’ I’m glad I stuck with it because Samantha is in control when it comes to men. She doesn’t let them rule her life. Instead, she encourages the women not to make men their center, but rather to go shopping, have fun, earn money, and then enjoy themselves with their pleasures. And that resonated with me.

Regarding Charlotte, Stallion commented, “She’s a bit quirky, yet endearing. I’d consider her my friend because she’s so emotionally expressive and I think it’s alright to shed tears. It’s okay to be a little unpredictable. She seems like she could cause trouble in the show, but her character is troubled… I apologize, Cancers, but you all are known for your emotional depth and I feel there’s a strong compatibility between cancers and Aquariuses.

In the sequence, it was Miranda’s turn: “Miranda, I find her the most disappointing character on the series. I simply can’t abide by Miranda. She seems to lack any positive words. She appears so melancholic all the time… It’s baffling how one could be cruel, yet Miranda managed to find a way to be unkind towards Steve [David Eigenberg]. The only aspiration Steve had was to shower affection on this eccentric woman.

For Carrie, Stallion remarked, “Her hair looks lovely, her makeup is fantastic. I’m confident this dress would go well with a pair of Manolos. She always exudes attractiveness, performing those intriguing quirky acts. She’s a bit unpredictable, but let me tell you something [Laughs]? There’s a part of me that resonates with this character. Carrie seemed to have an affinity for drama, as if she would wake up and plan ways to disrupt everyone’s day. She was crazy, but in a charming way. However, what intrigues me is that I can’t help but see a reflection of myself in her, as Carrie seemed to thrive on chaos. She could have made the wise decision, she could have opted for sanity, but instead, she chose madness. And then it struck me, is this me?

Back in the late ’90s to early 2000s, I was deeply engrossed in a TV show called “Sex and the City” that unfolded the lives of four fabulous women in the bustling city of New York. This series took us on a journey through their personal relationships, friendships, and romantic escapades, all while maintaining an unbreakable bond and sharing confidences. Fast forward to today, the spinoff “And Just Like That” has brought back the trio of Parker, Davis, and Nixon for another season, with more stories yet to be told.
