The flagship store of Carhartt WIP has now been unveiled in Bangkok, situated at Central Embassy. This impressive structure was conceptualized by acclaimed architect Andrea Caputo, who skillfully blended the brand’s rugged workmanship philosophy with sophisticated details, creating an atmosphere that echoes industrial charm.
One notable aspect of this store is a towering wall made from industrial pipes and connectors, offering both a rugged charm and practical layout. At the heart of the store stand robust concrete display tables, symbolizing Carhartt WIP’s dedication to durability. A walnut fixture adds warmth to the industrial ambiance, while black Marquina marble subtly infuses an air of opulence, resulting in a harmonious and refined space.
To mark the launch, Carhartt WIP unveiled limited-edition items tailored to specific regions, one of which is a series of T-shirts adorned with a Thai vintage matchbox-style elephant design. These special edition shirts are available in two hues: white, showcasing the match box-inspired graphic on the front, and navy blue pocket tee, where a large graphic graces the back. The grand unveiling ceremony, held on October 22, was succeeded by an afterparty at Siwilai Radical Club, offering DJ performances from local artists.
