As a long-time follower of the underground hip hop scene, I must say that the latest collaboration between Yeat and Summrs, “GO2WORK,” has truly caught my attention. The way they seamlessly blend their unique styles in this video, while simultaneously mocking the monotony of working at a convenience store, is a testament to their artistic growth and creativity.
Yeat and Summrs have released the official music video from their LYFESTYLE collab, “GO2WORK.”
Led by Jack Rottier and Alex Edep, the accompanying video features the original rappers alternating between smooth rhymes and working in a store resembling a 7-11. Before the video’s premiere, the duo hinted at their collaboration using billboard ads scattered across Los Angeles and a 1-800-GO2-WORK “assistance line” for those who are financially struggling and jobless.
Yeat’s second major album this year, titled LYFESTYLE, was released after his first one in February (2093). Notable artists like Kodak Black, Don Toliver, and Lil Durk made appearances on this record.
