As a seasoned gamer who’s been following Honor of Kings tournaments for years now, I must say that the 2024 Championship was nothing short of thrilling! The nail-biting final between Black Shrew Esports and Dominator Esports was a testament to the skill and strategy these teams possess.
After a riveting few weeks, the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship has finally concluded, and we know our winner. Sixteen teams battled it out to be crowned the ultimate champion and Black Shew Esports (BSE) prevailed, taking home a whopping $300,000 from the $1 million prize pool. They took down Dominator Esports (DMT) in an intense showdown at the Lippo Mall Kemang to solidify themselves as the best Honor of Kings team in the world.
The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship kicked off featuring 16 teams battling it out in five-match series. The top two teams then advanced to a double-elimination bracket consisting of five-match series in the quarterfinals. This format left us with only BSE and DMT standing, with BSE ultimately emerging victorious in the final showdown to claim the championship title. In addition, BSE’s player Musanking was recognized as the Final MVP for his outstanding gameplay, further enhancing their impressive win.
2021 was an outstanding year for Honor of Kings esports, wrapping up with this tournament as a fitting climax after a string of unforgettable international events. The season kicked off with Invitational Season One, won by Vivo Keyd Stars, and continued with Season Two, where LGD Malaysia secured the number one position. The Esports World Cup in Riyadh debuted in August, with KPL Dream Team emerging victorious. The HOK Championship finale was the grand conclusion to this year’s events, during which Black Shrew Esports demonstrated their exceptional skills.

By 2025, HOK Esports anticipates an expanded roster of events. Kicking off with Invitational Season 3 in the spring, it’ll be followed by a midseason event in Riyadh during summer, and later, another major Honor of Kings Championship. Moreover, a fresh pro-league system, namely HOK Major EAST and HOK Major WEST, will open up more chances for teams worldwide.
