As a seasoned movie enthusiast who has had the pleasure of witnessing numerous on-screen dramas unfold, I must say that the story behind Salman Khan and Indira Krishnan’s collaboration in Tere Naam is one for the books. It seems that even off-camera, the Bollywood superstar managed to keep everyone on their toes with his playful antics!

Salman Khan is recognized for his bold demeanor and isn’t afraid to voice his opinions openly. Just recently, Indira Krishnan, who worked alongside him in Tere Naam, revealed that he had cautioned her before they needed to slap each other in a scene. Consequently, she was frightened and shaking until she discovered that the actor was merely playing a joke on her.

During an open conversation with JoinFilms on YouTube, the actress reminisced about filming alongside Salman Khan under the direction of Satish Kaushik. She noticed firsthand his lively and jovial character during their collaboration.

In case you haven’t noticed, Krishnan portrayed Mamta in the movie, who is Radhe (Salman Khan)’s older sister to his love interest, Nirjara. In a particular scene, it was planned for the actress to slap Salman Khan, but she was cautioned beforehand, increasing her tension instead.

She said, “Salman tried to play a trick on me. He told me, ‘Just try hitting me a little, Indira, and see what I’ll do. I’ll make quite a fuss.’

Consequently, Indira found herself feeling fearful and anxious. Her hands trembled, and she felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility to get it correct. Nevertheless, the anxiety lessened when she realized the danger was merely a joke played on her.

The actress who recently appeared in Animal praised Khan, calling him delightful and easy to collaborate with. Additionally, she pointed out that he had a knack for playing harmless pranks during filming.

In 2003, a romantic drama movie titled Tere Naam hit the screens, revolving around a local tough guy who fell head over heels in love but eventually turned aggressive and was admitted into a mental institution. Yet, the actor playing the lead character kindly asked his fans not to mimic his violent behavior portrayed in the film.

Additionally, it featured actors such as Bhumika Chawla, Ravi Krishnan, Mahima Chaudhry, among others. This movie, under the guidance of director Satish Kaushik, was a hit at the box office.
