The new album by Dre and Snoop is set to drop on December 13th, as announced in a humorous video that delves into the dual meanings of “missionary.” Originally slated for release in 2022, the duo described it as commemorating the 30th anniversary of Snoop’s debut album, “Doggystyle.
Dre previously stated that this new project will demonstrate a higher level of maturity in his lyrics and music. He feels it’s some of the best work he’s done throughout his career, and he’s serious about it. He added that the musicians he’s collaborating with now and the studio writers contributing to the project have Snoop Dogg equally excited. Both Dre and Snoop believe people will really appreciate this new music.
