As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for musical performances and animated characters, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! The star-studded lineup, featuring the likes of Alison Brie, Idina Menzel, and T-Pain, promises an unforgettable spectacle.
This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC will feature a celebrity-filled lineup, with Alison Brie, Idina Menzel, Bishop Briggs, and T-Pain headlining the event, as revealed on Friday.
Today, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker will all be participating in the yearly holiday event that takes place in New York City on Thanksgiving Day.
I’m excited to share that I’ll be partying it up alongside some amazing folks during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Kylie Cantrall, Lea Salonga, Jonathan Bennett, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tom Kenny, Ginna Claire Mason, and members of the WNBA Champions, New York Liberty, including our beloved mascot Ellie the Elephant, will also be there! It’s going to be a fantastic day filled with great company and unforgettable moments. Can’t wait!
As a devoted spectator, I’m thrilled to share that this year’s parade won’t just include the usual high-flying balloons, marching bands, and floats. The NBC broadcast will also showcase performing casts from Broadway hits like “Death Becomes Her”, “Hell’s Kitchen”, and “The Outsiders”, along with the legendary Radio City Rockettes. It’s going to be an unforgettable event!
This year will introduce fresh character balloons for Disney’s Minnie Mouse, Extraordinary Noorah & The Elf on the Shelf from Lumistella Company, Gabby from DreamWorks Animation, Goku from Dragon Ball/Toei Animation, Marshall from Spin Master and Nickelodeon, and Spider-Man by Marvel.
This year, the live broadcast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be shown by NBC starting at 8:30 am on November 26th. The parade will continue until noon. You can also watch it on Peacock, and there will be a re-run in the afternoon on the main network. Last year, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade attracted close to 30 million viewers across NBC, Peacock, and a repeat broadcast.
Jen Neal, from NBCUniversal Media Group’s Live Events and Specials department, stated on Friday that there’s no match for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade when it comes to offering top-tier entertainment during the holiday season.
