As a seasoned mountaineer and ardent collector of premium outdoor gear, the Arc’teryx FW24 Grottoflage collection has certainly piqued my interest! Having scaled numerous peaks and braved the harshest weather conditions, I appreciate quality craftsmanship that can withstand the rigors of the great outdoors.
Arc’teryx is preparing to unveil its FW24 Grottoflage series, marking the introduction of the brand’s initial printed design in their freeride assortment. The design draws inspiration from the well-liked Grotto beanie, and innovatively redefines camouflage by infusing aspects of the Arc’teryx emblem into its pattern. The line offers both men’s and women’s garments, showcasing the Sentinel Jacket, Sabre Pant and Jacket, along with Rho base layers. Each item is meticulously constructed using Arc’teryx’s renowned craftsmanship and durability.
The Grottoflage design, crafted with precision by Arc’teryx’s creative team, features a sophisticated pattern made from various shades of gray and black. As detailed by Philip O’Sullivan, Director of Color and Graphics at Arc’teryx, the process involved breaking down their logo and constructing a textured pattern by overlapping components in different shades of grey and black. Grottoflage is Arc’teryx’s interpretation of camouflage-style prints, inspired by the acclaimed success of their popular Grotto beanie.
In an exciting partnership with fellow Amer Sports brand Atomic, Arc’teryx is unveiling a special edition ski adorned with the Grottoflage print. This unique collaboration resulted in the Atomic Maverick 115 CTI Arc’teryx Edition, a ski designed under the guidance of professional skier Craig Murray. By merging Arc’teryx’s design ideology with Atomic’s technical mastery, they have crafted a ski that symbolizes both brands’ commitment to mountain superiority.
Beginning November 6, you can find the Arc’teryx FW24 Grottoflage assortment on their official online store. Additionally, exclusive ski editions will be unveiled on the Atomic webstore starting November 11.
