As a longtime admirer of Puff Daddy’s extravagant lifestyle and unparalleled talent, I must say, this recent revelation about his infamous parties has left me utterly astounded! It seems that the man who brought us classics like “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Mo Money Mo Problems” also had a knack for throwing some pretty wild and decadent events.
Back in September, I found myself behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, following an arrest in New York City. As a 54-year-old entrepreneur known for my contributions to music and fashion, I’m currently grappling with a pile of charges that have been laid out in a 14-page indictment now publicly available.
Many stories have circulated about the parties in question, with celebrities and PR representatives who were close to Diddy offering their accounts. It’s important to clarify that it seems “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” could refer to two different events. The first, a high-profile gathering, would likely attract numerous A-list personalities. This type of event aligns with what is known as Diddy’s “white parties.” There are also rumors suggesting that after one of these events, an exclusive afterparty might take place. However, it’s said that many A-listers chose not to stay for this alleged secret gathering following the main event.
According to a source who spoke with The New York Post, the previously mentioned event organizer has revealed insights into planning the adult-themed parties hosted by Puff Daddy. This anonymous source claims that Diddy would splurge generously to ensure the gatherings met his standards. One particular demand for at least one of these lavish house parties, as suggested by the source, was for mirrors to be installed. The planner, when commenting on this claim, stated:
In every direction you turned, you’d find mirrored images of yourself, over and over. It’s not hard to picture a scene where people are bare, engaging in intimate acts, on the floor, the sofas, or anywhere else.
During an interview with the Post, the event planner clarified that their duties included arranging decorations, food, drinks, and entertainment, but they didn’t contribute ideas about the alleged sexual aspects or the guests for the parties. A former employee of Diddy – who is said to have worked under him during the 2000s – offered a substantial amount when asked about the Grammy winner’s spending on each party.
The cost for each event, which included both the general gathering and the subsequent sex party, typically amounted to around half a million dollars. These events were filled with exquisite food, high-priced alcohol, dancers, acrobats, models, along with live animals or various performers at times. Despite the escalating costs, he remained unfazed. The aim was to create an atmosphere where sexual activity would be prevalent in every corner, making it a non-stop orgy of decadence.
Regarding the claims about “excessive partying,” the event organizer asserted that Sean Combs was employing individuals who identified as “models.” However, it appeared to an employee that they were actually prostitutes instead. At this moment, Sean Combs’ legal team has yet to respond to the remarks made by the party coordinator.
P. Diddy, who has been refused bail on numerous occasions, is scheduled for trial in May 2025. It’s yet to be determined if any additional allegations about his alleged outbursts will surface.
