Garena Free Fire to collab with hit sports anime Blue Lock

  • New crossover coming this season
  • Themed cosmetics, emotes and more will be added
  • Blue Lock is a popular anime series focusing around the titular football training program

As a seasoned gamer who’s been around the block more times than I care to remember, I must admit, I’m quite thrilled about this latest collaboration between Garena Free Fire and Blue Lock! With a passion for both gaming and anime, this crossover is right up my alley.

Garena Free Fire is charging into winter with a significant collaboration, and it’s aiming high as the popular sports series Blue Lock is now part of the battlefield. Fans can gather jerseys from renowned characters and strive to acquire numerous in-game rewards.

A popular sports show currently airing in Japan, titled “Blue Lock,” gathers some of the nation’s top forwards within the Blue Lock Facility. The ruthless coach Jinpachi Ego oversees this competition, where only one participant will eventually join the national team, while the rest will be permanently barred from football.

As a devoted Blue Lock fan, I’m thrilled to share that we now have an opportunity to get our hands on official jerseys of beloved characters like Isagi Yoichi and Nagi Seishiro. Plus, by participating and completing missions, you can collect a wide range of themed items such as weapons, skins, vehicles, and more, all part of the exciting collaboration! This event kicks off on November 20th and runs until December 8th. Don’t miss out!

He shoots, he scores

Recently, during my visit to Japan, I noticed numerous advertisements and notices about Blue Lock. Despite some criticism over the animation quality in the anime, it appears to be incredibly successful within Japan, and judging by this collaboration, it seems to have a wide following in other Eastern regions as well.

If you have an exciting game launching this year that you can’t wait to share with everyone, consider casting your vote in the Pocket Gamer Awards 2024. This way, your game has a chance to receive the recognition it truly deserves!
