As a fervent admirer of the intersection between business, media, and entertainment, I am utterly thrilled about the addition of these four titans to the Paley Center for Media’s board of directors! The collective expertise and vision of Robert Kraft, David Solomon, Steven Swartz, and Maribel Pérez Wadsworth promise to catapult the Paley Center’s mission into uncharted territories.

The Paley Center for Media is adding four prominent executives to its board of directors.

The owners and heads of the New England Patriots, Kraft Group, Goldman Sachs, Hearst, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation – namely Robert Kraft, David Solomon, Steven Swartz, and Maribel Pérez Wadsworth – will be added to the Paley board of directors.

Maureen J. Reidy, president & CEO of the Paley Center, expressed her delight in inviting an extraordinary collection of influential and accomplished figures to join our Board of Trustees. These individuals have left a significant mark on sectors such as sports, business, media, and journalism through their knowledge and foresight. We are thankful for the wisdom and experience they offer, which will undoubtedly enhance our mission and reinforce Paley’s position as a key player in the media industry’s nonprofit sector.

As the Paley Center prepares for its yearly International Council Summit, it welcomes newly appointed board members. This summit boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, such as John Malone, Adam Silver, Phil Spencer, and other prominent figures in the realms of media, technology, and entertainment.

The Paley board is headed by Frank Bennack, the ex-CEO and current executive vice chairman of Hearst, and comprises several prominent figures in media. These include Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, Apple executive Eddie Cue, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch, and numerous others with similar statures in the industry.

The Paley Center, found in both New York and Los Angeles, showcases permanent exhibitions and special events tied to the realm of media and entertainment. This includes their annual summits, as well as fan-focused events like PaleyFest. Additionally, it boasts a vast collection of media artifacts from over the decades, such as radio and television broadcasts.
