As a follower who has been deeply moved by Brianna Chickenfry’s heart-wrenching story, I find myself deeply troubled by Zach Bryan’s silence in response to these allegations. The fact that he hasn’t spoken up speaks volumes about his character, or rather, the lack thereof.

A week following Brianna LaPaglia‘s disclosure of the alleged emotional abuse she endured at the hands of her former boyfriend and country musician Zach Bryan, I find myself pondering over her insights into Bryan’s silence regarding these accusations. Here’s my interpretation:

She stated that the lack of response spoke volumes about him, implying once more what kind of person he is.

Brianna Chickenfry, commonly recognized under her online handle, chose to take the higher ground by deliberately keeping certain information and proof hidden, viewing it as a means to give Bryan a chance at help by offering him a hint about his abusive actions.

She expressed that if he responds, it would require him to deny the situation, which would validate her story and prompt her to share all related videos and recordings. This was stated during the Nov. 13 episode of Barstool Sports’ BFFs podcast, where she was conversing with co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.

Initially, the musician known for “Something in the Orange” disclosed his separation from LaPaglia on his Instagram story in October, a revelation that left LaPaglia taken aback. Subsequently, she spoke publicly about their relationship issues for the first time during the podcast’s episode on November 7th.

She shared that the past year has been the most challenging of her life, marked by the mistreatment from a certain individual. Even now, she continues to feel fearful of him, and her thoughts have been reshaped. She’s anxious about provoking him in any way.

Lapaglia went on to explain that Bryan would shower her with affection, but also attempted to dictate her clothing choices, berated her friends, and frequently damaged her mobile device.

She stated, ‘He skillfully exploited me.’ I acknowledge that emotional abuse might be challenging to comprehend if you haven’t experienced it yourself, and I sincerely hope you never do. However, if you have, you understand my sentiment. It was a repetitive pattern of ‘boosting your confidence, undermining you, apologizing,’ again and again.

Lapaglia claimed that Bryan and his associates proposed a deal worth $12 million, asking her to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to refrain from discussing their relationship and the ordeals she went through.

Yet, LaPaglia opted against endorsing the agreement, expressing her rationale as follows: “This isn’t about drama for me; it’s not because I refused to sign the NDA and turned down the money in order to reveal his identity and expose his secrets. Instead, I chose not to accept the payment because I wouldn’t relinquish my personal experiences and what I endured to safeguard someone who harmed me. I am far more robust than a feeble man.

After announcing their split, Bryan continued his active presence on social media and put out the tracks “High Road” and “This World’s A Giant.

Reps for Bryan did not immediately respond to request for comment.
